Kerman Copper 30000 Seat Soccer Stadium

Project Owner: National Iranian Copper Industries Co

Implementation Duration: Since 2010

Project Description

In 2006, Kerman Copper Stadium with a capacity of 30,000 seats was designed based on the type of stadiums approved by Iran’s Physical Education Organization and by one of the consultantr companies in the country.

In 2014, at the request of the project owner to fundamentally reform the stadium documents and turn it into a modern stadium equipped with the necessary infrastructure in an international level, ANIN Co. was selected as a design consultant and supreme supervisor of the project. In this regard, comprehensive studies based on the latest version of the standards for the design and construction of soccer stadiums (STANDARD FOR STADIUMS FIFA 2011- 5th edition) were carried out by the design team and a comprehensive report was presented including the cost of the project. After approval, the criterion for the implementation of the project was set.

Of course, the presence of the contractor and the fact that the project was implemented and part of the structure of the project was constructed made the conditions for modifying and completing the documents quite difficult. Given that, by thoroughly studying the previous drawings, field visits and taking into account the status of the project and the contractor’s contractual conditions, we finally managed to carry out the project and the stadium was constructed. Based on the corrections made, it can be announced that Kerman Soccer Stadium is the only stadium in the country at the level of FIFA Class 4 and the only stadium designed in accordance with the latest version of the FIFA standard in Iran.

The design of the stadium, in addition to a modern and up-to-date style, has been adapted to Iranian architectural patterns. In this stadium, VIP, CIP and VVIP stands, facilities for tournament organizers, teams and 30,000 spectators are provided in a completely standard way. This project is the third all-roofed stadium designed in the country, whose unique shell and roof design distinguishes it from other stadiums in the country. The hallmarks of this stadium are the design of infrastructure related to mechanized control systems (BMS – Building Management System) and the provision of complete infrastructure and welfare facilities for the media, journalists and reporters, as well as providing training spaces for bodybuilding, recovery and training space for teams.
