Design of the Multipurpose Indoor Sports Hall – Mes Rafsanjan: A Modern Arena for Hosting Championship Events

Project Summary:
Following the successful design and commissioning of the modern Mes Rafsanjan Stadium in collaboration with ANIN Engineering Company, ANIN was once again honored to be entrusted with the design of a new multipurpose indoor sports hall with a seating capacity of 6,000 spectators in the city of Rafsanjan.
The main objective of this project is to create a standard, modern sports facility capable of hosting national and Asian-level championship events for various indoor teams representing Mes Rafsanjan Sports Club.
Design Highlights:
Leveraging its up-to-date technical expertise and proven experience in the design of modern sports venues, ANIN carried out the full design process of this facility during 2022–2023. The architectural approach focused on both aesthetic excellence and the creation of a distinct visual identity, while also integrating the latest technologies, contemporary materials, and international standards for multipurpose indoor arenas.
This flexible design allows the venue to accommodate a wide range of indoor sports and events, including:
- Volleyball
- Basketball
- Handball
- Futsal
Current Status and Future Steps:
The design phase has been fully completed, and all relevant documents and technical drawings are ready for execution. The start of construction is pending budget allocation by the client.
