Kerman Sports Complex
Employer: National Iranian Copper Industries Company
Implementation period: From 2010 to present
In addition to sports competition halls and football stadiums, this complex also includes training grounds and halls to improve the basic sports teams and training infrastructure for club teams.
The project site has been designed for two implementation phases. In the first phase, in addition to the football stadium, outdoor football training fields, an indoor training hall, outdoor playgrounds and locker rooms were designed along with parking lots. In the second phase, by moving the parking lots outside the complex site, the multipurpose competition hall and the championship swimming pool hall were located and designed in the two southern and eastern parking lots of the site. In fact, it can be admitted that with the implementation of the second phase of the project site, the Kerman Shohada Mes Sports Complex will be the most comprehensive private sports complex and, after the Azadi Sports Complex in Tehran, the most complete in the country, where it is possible to hold a wide and diverse range of different Olympic disciplines.
In addition to the sports competition halls and football stadium, this complex also includes fields and training halls to promote grassroots sports teams and training infrastructure for club teams. This sports complex is designed on a 35-hectare site and includes a football stadium, a multi-purpose competition hall with a capacity of 6,000 people, a 50-meter championship swimming pool, an indoor training hall, outdoor tennis, basketball, volleyball, beach soccer and a health road.
